Construction / renovation update (as of Friday, 11/15):
The new retaining wall is in progress. Concrete will be poured soon to make a level, west entrance (no need for a ramp or steps) and upper parking that has safer sidewalks to the west doors. The sidewalk from the large parking lot to the north tower door is being replaced (eliminating the outdoor step at this door). When the west concrete work is done then work can begin on the new, glassed-in entry at our west doors. Interior electrical work has started. Soon, work is expected to start on replacing the exterior glass so the stained-glass window will be visible outside and can be lit so it's a Christian message in our neighborhood. All of the work is being done with the desire to improve our facility and honor our Lord so that this place of worship and ministry can continue to impact our community. There is a construction fence at the west entrance, to keep the public out and safe. Please pray for good weather and for the safety of the workers plus everyone who travels in our parking lot and on adjacent sidewalks. Also, please pray for new opportunities God directs us to - so we can share the gospel in our area.
